Guide to Memory Matters
Memory Matters is a memory game in which you must memorize a sequence of colours. Following is a tutorial that will provide you with all of the information that you need to become an expert player at Memory Matters.
First tap the start game button on the home screen to enter the game. This screen also has a link to the Game Credits and Online Tutorial (this webpage) screens. Note: You can migrate back to the home screen by tapping the Back Home link (top left). Note: At any point during the game, you can tap the Memory Matters title (located at the top of every screen) and you will be taken back to the home screen.

After migrating from the home screen, you will see a level-selector screen. When you are ready, select your level of difficulty, but get ready because the memorization screen is next.

Here is where the challenge unfolds. A sequence of colours is shown to you with a specific time allocation based on your chosen difficulty. Remember, you must remember the colours exactly as they appear on this page and you will not be able to reference this once the countdown timer runs out.

Here is the hard part. You must try to reproduce the sequence exactly as you had seen it in the previous screen by dragging the colours from each side of the sequence-pallet over the dropboxes.
To place a colour into a dropbox, you must tap a colour from either side of the sequence pallet to select that colour. Note: You can place multiple colours without reselecting that colour. Simply tap another dropbox to drop the same colour into it.

Three tools are provided to help you in your quest to remember. The hint, erase, and reset buttons are located on the bottom of the screen.
First, the hint button will assist you in remembering in case you get stuck on one of the dropboxes. To use the hint function, simply tap the hint button (it will become highlighted when hint functionality is enabled) and then tap the dropbox you are having difficulty remembering. The colour for that dropbox will magically appear. Note: Using the hint function will severely reduce your final score, once you have successfully reproduced the sequence.
Second, the erase button will allow you to erase one dropbox at a time. SImply tap the erase button (it will become highlighted when erase functionality is enabled) and then tap the dropbox you wish to erase. You can then drag colours into these spaces just as you originally could.
Third, the reset button will allow you to clear the entire sequence-pallet. This may allow you to clear your thoughts and start over.
You will know if you have successfully reproduced the sequence because the border around the sequence pallet will glow green instead of red. At this point, press the check button to lock in your time and calculate your score. Note: If your sequence is incorrect and you press the check button, your final score will be severely reduced, once you have successfully reproduced the sequence.

If you manage to get to the Correct Sequence page, then congratulations, you have successfully beated that level. However, don't get too proud of yourself yet because this game includes over 28 quintillion (28,430,290,850,000,000,000) levels and has a highest possible score of 2,500,000.

You now know how to play.
Enjoy Memory Matters!
